    There are some great holiday-themed coffee drinks that can be shared to make memories and bring people together. Below we have listed some recipes to make delicious holiday coffee drinks for all to enjoy.

    Christmas Coffee Cocktail

    Ingredients (serves 2)

    • 4 ounces of hot freshly made black coffee
    • 1½ ounces amaretto
    • 1½ ounces coffee liqueur
    • 1 ounce butterscotch schnapps
    • 1 ounce crèmede cacao
    • Whipped cream
    • Shaved chocolate

    To make this wintery adult coffee, divide the coffee evenly between two glasses (clear glasses have the most visual appeal for presentation). Next add the liqueurs to each glass one at a time, slowly pouring each liqueur into the glass over the back of an upside-down spoon. Do not stir. The liqueurs will cause the drink to have a layered look. Top each cup with a dollop of whipped cream and a few sprinkles of shaved chocolate.

    Eggnog Coffee Punch

    This is another great holiday coffee to drink while sitting with friends and family. This recipe takes the classic holidays taste of eggnog and puts a new twist on it. Kid-friendly, too!

    Ingredients (serves 4)

    • 1½ cup coffee ice cream
    • Shaved chocolate
    • 1½ cups eggnog
    • 1 cup hot freshly made black coffee
    • 4 Tablespoons whipped topping

    Put the ice cream into a medium saucepan and turn the heat on low. Add the eggnog and the prepared coffee. Heat and stir for 3 minutes. Divide this mixture evenly between four mugs. Top with the whipped topping and chocolate shavings.

    Holiday Coffee

    This recipe is rich and heavy, but it is a great holiday treat for a crowd.

    Ingredients (fills 4 very large mugs or 8 small mugs):

    • 64 ounces of hot freshly brewed black coffee
    • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
    • Cinnamon
    • 4 maraschino cherries

    Once the coffee has been prepared, stir in the condensed milk until fully incorporated. Put into four very large (or 8 small) coffee mugs. Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon and a cherry. This will bring a holiday feel to the traditional cup of coffee.

    Spiced Coffee

    Nothing says its holiday time more than a little bit of spice. You can have a hint of spice in your coffee without it being overpowering. This recipe is sure to get you into the spirit of the holidays. (Note: to make this drink, you’ll need an automatic drip coffeemaker.)

    Ingredients (for a 12-cup coffeemaker):

    • 1½ cups of ground coffee (more or less to taste and for your brewer’s capacity)
    • Rind from half an orange
    • 4 to 6 whole cloves
    • 2 to 3 cinnamon sticks
    • Splash of cognac (optional) for each serving

    To make this coffee, put the coffee grounds, rind, cloves, and cinnamon sticks in with the coffee in the filter. Follow your machine’s instructions for a full brewing cycle. Once the coffee is done, serve it with a generous splash of cognac.

    This coffee drink is festive and really captures the holiday season. It is easy to make and kid-friendly, with ingredients that do not require any refrigeration.

    Ingredients:

    • 16 ounces powdered non-dairy coffee creamer
    • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
    • ¾ cup instant coffee granules
    • ½ cup powdered sugar
    • 1½ tsp cinnamon
    • 1 pinch of salt (optional)

    To make this bulk coffee recipe, mix all of the dry ingredients together. This mixture can be stored in an airtight container until a person is ready to make the coffee. Heat water in a kettle until it is very hot (but not boiling). To prepare a single beverage, dissolve 2-3 Tablespoons of the powdered mixture per large mug (less for a smaller cup) into very hot water.

    Ingredients:

    • 2 cups powdered non-dairy creamer
    • 1½ cup instant coffee granules
    • 1 tsp cinnamon
    • 1½ cups hot chocolate mix
    • ½ tsp nutmeg

    To make this bulk coffee recipe, mix all of the dry ingredients together. This mixture can be stored in an airtight container until a person is ready to make the coffee. Heat water in a kettle until it is very hot (but not boiling). To prepare a single beverage, dissolve 2-3 Tablespoons of the mix per large mug (less for a smaller cup) into very hot water.

    Cappuccino in a Jar

    This is a great mixture to give to someone as a present. The mixture is made and can be stored in an airtight jar. A person can get a fancy jar or a nice coffee mug to complete the gift. This is a tasty treat for a person to enjoy during the holiday season.

    Ingredients:

    • ⅔ cup instant coffee granules
    • 1 cup powdered non-dairy creamer
    • 1 cup powdered hot chocolate mix
    • ½ cup powdered sugar
    • ¾ tsp cinnamon

    When preparing this mixture, have a large sterile canning jar or airtight container ready. Put the coffee into the food processor and process it until the coffee becomes a fine powder. Add the remaining ingredients to the food processor; pulse a few times to fully incorporate. Pour the mixture into the jar and seal tightly. Don’t forget to include a card with preparation instructions for your gift recipient.

    When a person is ready to prepare this drink, they’ll need 3 teaspoons for every six ounces of hot (not boiling) water.
